Position Overview

WellnessMD is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director to lead our clinical operations and ensure the highest standard of patient care. The Clinical Director will oversee medical staff, develop protocols, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive quality improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of integrative and wellness-based medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and medical standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols and policies to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and support medical and clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with administrative leadership to drive strategic initiatives and enhance service offerings.
  • Monitor and improve clinical performance metrics, patient satisfaction, and overall quality of care.
  • Stay current with industry trends, medical advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of healthcare professionals to maintain a highly skilled team.
  • Manage clinical budgets, resources, and operational efficiencies to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, required.
  • Board certification in family medicine, aesthetics, or functional medicine, preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted NP/PA license. Multi-state license, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of wellness, integrative, and preventive medicine practices.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, quality improvement, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and executive leadership.
